It is my privilege to lead this wonderful school, which truly is a school focused on learning, and in which the voice of all students, staff and parents are heard and valued. We have a ‘can do’ culture that ensures that teachers are constantly evolving and emphasising on innovations to keep learning as our main focus, and that the lives of our students are filled with meaningful and purposeful experiences. Therefore, with great joy and enthusiasm, I welcome each and every one of you to Doon School Srinagar. Doon School Srinagar under the aegis of Wilmot Foundation: We are continuing to take an advantage of our association with Wilmot Foundation as this collaboration gives our students and teachers a chance to compete with the global communities across the world. These exchange programmes with the students and teachers across the globe through Wilmot Foundation help our students and teachers to grow as global citizens.
It is our international ethos and composition which is valued by all parents in the school. This sets us apart in valley as a truly international school, where our students grow up developing the skills of intercultural competence, preparing them as future change-makers in the ever-changing global community.
It is a joy to walk around the school and see the students enthusiastically participating in their learning.
