National Badminton Championship
Doon School Srinagar takes immense pride in announcing that our talented student Maheem Aijaz has been selected to represent Jammu & Kashmir in the upcoming National Badminton Championship organized by the Badminton Association of India (BAI) in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
The state-level tournament, held under the U-15 category, witnessed participation from top players across all districts of J&K. Our young Doonite emerged Winner in the Girls’ Doubles U-15 category, securing her place to compete at the Nationals in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
With Yonex Sunrise as the title sponsor, the championship is one of the most prestigious youth sporting events in India and as she prepares to represent J&K at the national level, we wish her all the very best for a smashing performance ahead!
