This is Haya’s first novel, but she has complete control of her story and her style. Read it. This book is like the dystopian characters with its richly developed nuances. The world building is so fully fleshed out and for her age group readers spine-tinglingly absorbing that its almost as if Haya travelled to such places that she describes and just wrote it all down. Haya’s novel is so strange and startlingly smart that its mere existence seems like commentary on the state of fiction.
