On October 9, 2023, the 10th National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC) of INSPIREMANAK took place in the capital city. The event, presided over by Mr. Arvind Ranade, a distinguished scientist from the National Innovation Foundation of India, showcased the brightest minds from across the nation. Amidst a pool of remarkable projects and ingenious creations, Sidrat’s project stood out. Not only for its innovation but for the noble cause it embraced. Focused on aiding individuals afflicted by somnambulism, a perplexing sleepwalking disorder, her innovation offers hope to those who struggle with it. It aims to prevent inconveniences and injuries that often accompany sleepwalking episodes, providing a safer and more restful night’s sleep for those affected. But Sidrat’s journey of success didn’t start there. On November 28, 2022, a project competition organized by the MANAK scheme for districts Srinagar and Ganderbal bore witness to her brilliance. Sidrat’s project secured the first rank among numerous projects, solidifying her reputation as a visionary inventor. Not content with local acclaim, Sidrat continued to stun the valley with her passion and innovation. On January 2, 2023, she participated in the state-level Inspire Awards and secured the top spot, further establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the field of science and innovation. Sidrat Ul Muntaha’s achievements serve as a source of immense pride and inspiration for the entire Doon School family. The school’s Honorary Chairperson, Mr. Showkat Khan, and the Respected Vice Principal, Ms. Nowsheen Bashir, extend their heartiest congratulations to Sidrat, wishing her a future filled with even more remarkable milestones. In Doon Srinagar, we believe in providing ever-expanding platforms for potential talent, and Sidrat Ul Muntaha’s journey stands as a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work, innovation, and determination. As she continues her journey, we eagerly anticipate the even greater milestones she is bound to conquer.
