Sports and athletics have been a constitutive segment of Doon International School.
16th of October marked a majestic opening ceremony of Inter-School Badminton Tournament, 2021. The three- day event kicked off with a flamboyant spirit at the campus of G.D. Goenka Public School, Srinagar. The occasion was graced by principal dignitaries like the Chairman of Al Habeeb Educational Trust- Mr Ghulam Qadir Shah, the Chairman of GDGPS –Mr Imtiyaz Kawoosa, Managing Director of GDGPS – Ms Massara Kawoosa, Principal of Doon International School, Srinagar - Mr Mehfooz Aslam, Principal of GDGPS - Mr. Johnson P.J and Principal of Mallinson Girls School, Srinagar – Mr Alistair R.A Freese.
The most intriguing aspect, embellishing the event, was the splendid participation of students from the top school of Valley – Doon International School, Delhi Public School, Tyndale Biscoe School, Mallinson Girls School and G.D Goenka Public School.
Keeping up the legacy of splendid performance, Doonians made it to the Semi – Finals, which are scheduled on Monday, 18th of October, 2021.
