The senior department of Doon
School Srinagar bid a heartfelt farewell to the graduating class in a memorable
event held on the 13th of December, 2023.
Held in the beautifully adorned
school auditorium, the farewell party featured a variety of entertaining
performances. Minzah's soulful song, Mutasim's impressive beatboxing, a lively
group dance, captivating rap songs, and stylish ramp walks showcased the talent
and diversity of the students.
Engaging activities like 'pick a
chit and answer,' and the intriguing 'touch and tell blindfolded' added an
interactive dimension to the event. The Vice Principal, Ms. Nowsheen Bashir,
cut the farewell cake, symbolizing the shared moments of joy and camaraderie.
The highlight of the evening was
the title competition for Ms. Doon and Mr. Doon, which saw Ms. Haya and Mr.
Murtaza emerging victorious. Their achievements were celebrated amidst cheers
and applause.
The Vice principal presented a
heartfelt farewell speech on the occasion. In her address, Ms. Nowsheen Bashir
conveyed warm wishes and words of encouragement to the outgoing batch. Her
inspiring words resonated, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of
another for the graduating students.
