Celebrating events and festivals in school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Such celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s tradition and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions. At Doon Eid-ul-Fitr – the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love, was celebrated in a distinctive festive atmosphere exuberantly filled with irrepressible positive feeling and gusto.For this the students of House Falcon hosted a special assembly with great enthusiasm on Tuesday, 25th of April, 2023. It started with a solemn prayer to the Almighty and an effort to work for a safe and better world and to live in harmony. The celebration progressed by apprising the audience about the significance of this holy festival through Tilawat-e-Quran, qawali, skit,etc. The atmosphere was further enriched with little ones dressed in dazzling traditional costumes exchanging Eid greetings and highlighting the essence of Eid Celebrations. The spirit of Eid was well imbibed by the students and also helped them to instill the universal values of brotherhood and compassion. It was a moment of enjoyment, fun and pleasure in a relaxed environment. The blooming buds in their traditional costumes conveyed the message of patience, modesty, self-restrain and spirituality. The Vice Principal of the school, Ms. Nowsheen Bashir extolled the ethical virtues and motivated the young ones to uphold the high values throughout the year. The students enjoyed their day with full exhilaration, elation and delight.
