The
prestigious Doon School Srinagar celebrated a momentous day as it honored the
dedicated educators of Wilmot Wing for their unwavering commitment to the field
of education. The event was graced by the presence of the Honourable Chairman,
Mr. Showkat Hussain Khan, and the respected Vice Principal, Ms. Nowsheen Bashir
who did the honours of presenting awards to the winners. A sense of pride
filled the air as the "Trophy of the Year" was awarded to the
representatives of Punjab State, Ms. Saima Wani and Ms. Sana Fayaz, for their
outstanding presentation that clinched the title of "Best Presentation of
the Year." Furthermore, the ceremony saw the distribution of mementos in
various categories, acknowledging excellence in different facets of the event.
Notable achievements included the "Best Dance" awarded to Ms. Sana
Gul, the "Best Skit with Message" awarded to Ms. Tabeena Khan, the
"Best Props" awarded to Ms. Saima Wani, the "Best
Enactment" awarded to Ms. Asiya Kawal, the "Best Group
Performance" awarded to Ms. Ishrat, and the remarkable performance by the
little toddler group led by Ms. Suraiya Tareen. The valuable contribution of
the Art faculty to the Annual Presentation was recognized and presented to Mr.
Maroof Iftikhar and Ms. Adeema Jan. The music teacher, Ms. Mymoona Zaara,
received accolades for her coordination of playback music during the event.
Abeera Yaseen and Sheikh Sibgatullah were rightfully honored as the best
anchors of the Annual Presentation, who showcased their remarkable talents in
hosting. In addition, Ms. Shazia Khan, the coordinator, and Assistant
Coordinator Ms. Sabah Farooqui of Wilmot Wing were also presented with
well-deserved mementos, celebrating their passionate work and dedication to the
Wilmot Wing of Doon School Srinagar.
