The Investiture Ceremony at Doon School Srinagar held on May 8th was a profound occasion that reverberated with pride and promise. The ceremony commenced with the solemn Torch Ceremony, and the unfurling of the school flag, symbolizing the passing of leadership and the illumination of a new journey ahead. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as each house paraded with precision and unity, showcasing their allegiance and commitment.

Amidst the ceremonial grandeur, heartfelt prayers resonated through the halls, echoing the hopes and aspirations of the school community. The stage came alive with vibrant performances, from the dynamic Ball Drill to the graceful Dumbles Exercise adorned with ribbons and flowers, each act a testament to the students' talent and dedication.

Following these performances, the focus shifted to the heart of the ceremony - the Badge Ceremony and Oath Taking Ceremony. Among the selected students were Mohammad Mutaib and Payanda Lone, appointed as Head Boy and Head Girl respectively, with Sibqatullah and Qifah Bhat assuming the roles of Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. In addition, Gazanfar and Nimra were honored as Sports Captain for boys and girls, while Haziq and Misba Parvez were appointed as Sports Vice-captains. Akeel Majid was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Disciplinary Committee as its President. Furthermore, house captains were appointed to lead their respective houses. Gazi Ahmad and Sidrat were chosen as the House Captains for Falcon House, Baruj and Binnat for Hoopoes House, Mansimer Pal Singh and Rutba for Mallards House, and Mohtashim and Lariab for Teals House.

Next, a mesmerizing Kashmiri Rouf Dance was performed that added a cultural touch to the proceedings, celebrating the rich heritage of Kashmir. The ceremony culminated with the Chief Guest's inspiring speech and the Chairman's valuable feedback, motivating the student leaders to uphold the school's values and excel in their roles.
