To promote singing talents in the school, a singing competition titled ‘MELODY OF SOUL' was organised for children from class III to VIII. The competition was held in two categories, English Duet and Hindi Solo, where all the students were eager to participate in the competition. Hence, a large number of students turned up for the audition round. The audition was conducted by our music teacher Mr. Nadeem Hussain along with an activity In charge Ms Munazah yousuf. Each student performed well, but finally only 12 contestants were selected to participate in the final round.
The budding singers put up the amazing show with their melodious voice and mesmerized the audience present in the hall. The judges for the competition were Mr. Imran Lateef Pathaan, the well-known audio-engineer, music composer and director, Mr Faisal, a trainer and Ms Mymoona, a music teacher. The participants were judged on their melody, rhythm, synchronisation and general impression. It was a tough contest and even the judges found it difficult to decide the winners. Finally, our two students, Zaira from class V-B and Bintul Huda from class VII-B bagged the runners up trophies. Finally the students with an angelic voice, Syed Irene from class VIII-A and Mutaiba from class VII-B bagged first prize and were announced as winners in music competition.
