As a part of the academic planner Doon School Srinagar recently organized a dental check-up for all the students from Nursery to grade XII to demonstrate the commitment to the holistic development and health of the students. A team of doctors lead by Dr Rahila and Dr Uzma checked the dental health of the students and taught them the brushing techniques and the best ways of dental hygiene. Students were made aware about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay.
The primary objective of this dental check-up was to provide parents with a comprehensive insight into the current oral health status of their children, fostering awareness and encouraging positive dental practices.
The event featured a meticulous visual inspection of each child's oral cavity, encompassing an examination of teeth, gums, and the overall condition of the mouth.
Such proactive measures contribute significantly to raising awareness about the importance of oral health, while equipping families with the knowledge and tools to maintain healthy smiles for years to come. This initiative is a testament to Doon School's dedication to the well-being of its students and their families.
