Enthusiasm and festivity marked the Teacher's Day celebrations at Doon School, as the students had put their heart and soul into making the day memorable for their revered teachers.
A wonderful cultural programme was meticulously planned and executed by the Student Council who left no stone unturned to make their teachers feel important and loved. The celebrations began with the welcome address delivered by the Head Boy and Head Girl.
Highlights of the cultural programme were the exuberant dance and musical performances presented by the students. A variety of games like musical chair, arm wrestling, poetry session, talent hunt and many other activities were also planned to keep the teachers engaged and give them a fun filled day. Senior students were dressed up like their teachers and took the task of teaching their followers like their teachers. A melodious song and fabulous dance performance were presented by the teachers and Teachers were also presented with titled crowns.
In his address to the faculty Chairman Mr Showkat Khan, appreciated the teachers for their commendable work with students throughout the year. He extended his gratitude to the students for putting up a wonderful programme and making the day most memorable and cherished.
On the occasion, Vice Principal Ms Nowsheen Bashir appreciated the students for their commendable job and also paid gratitude to the teachers of the Doon family for their hard work, saying, that the teachers are the true architects of a progressive and prosperous society.
