Doon School Srinagar is delighted to announce the installation of a state-of-the-art mobile planetarium setup in the school premises. The planetarium setup was made available for students from Class 1 to 10 on 21st and 22nd June 2023, in the school's auditorium. The two-day event aimed to provide students with an immersive experience in astronomy and space exploration, enhancing their knowledge in science, physics, mathematics, and related fields.
The event was organized with the vision to promote experiential learning and provide students with a unique educational opportunity. By immersing themselves in the captivating visuals and informative content presented within the mobile planetarium, students were able to grasp complex concepts in a simplified manner.
Throughout the two days, the auditorium buzzed with excitement as students actively participated in the planetarium sessions. Their enthusiasm and keen interest were evident as they asked thought-provoking questions and engaged in meaningful discussions with the presenters
