The presentation of LPD was conducted on the theme “Unity in Diversity.” The programme began with a warm welcome speech and prayer by the respected Principal setting the tone for the day.
Our little Doonians showcased the cultural richness of different states of India with great enthusiasm and confidence. The performances highlighted the beauty of diversity while reflecting the unity that binds us as one nation. The states presented were:
Kolkata : with its vibrant traditions and artistic spirit.
Kashmir: the paradise on earth, known for its unique culture and beauty.
Punjab : full of energy and colour, depicting its lively folk spirit.
Gujarat : showcasing its festive traditions and rich heritage.
The young learners captivated the audience with their charming performances, proving that age is no barrier to understanding the values of unity, respect, and cultural appreciation.
The event concluded with an inspiring address by the honourable Chairman Doon school Srinagar who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, and emphasized the importance of nurturing values of togetherness and inclusivity from the earliest years of learning.
