On May 2, 2024, Doon School Srinagar, in collaboration with Ujala Cygnus Hospital Nowgam, organized an extensive general medical camp specifically for the school's lower Primary Department (LPD) students. This initiative aimed to promote and ensure the comprehensive health and well-being of our students, emphasizing not only their physical health but also their emotional and cognitive development.
The camp was led by Dr. Zarak Jan, a renowned pediatrician, who, along with his dedicated team from Ujala Cygnus Hospital, conducted thorough medical assessments. The event was seamlessly organised on the school's premises, providing a safe and familiar environment for students to undergo health evaluations and receive valuable medical advice.
The collaboration between Doon School Srinagar and Ujala Cygnus Hospital highlights our shared commitment to nurturing the overall growth and development of our students. This initiative serves as a testament to our ongoing efforts to support every aspect of our students' well-being, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to thrive academically and personally.
This event not only provided valuable health services but also fostered a sense of community and care within the school. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jan, his team, and all the school staff who contributed to making this medical camp a success. By prioritizing our students' health, we are investing in their future, and this collaborative effort is a significant step towards achieving that goal.
