Doon School Srinagar hosted a highly successful 'Art Mela,' under “Doon Artistry Club”, an event dedicated to igniting the artistic spirit and creativity of our students. The school campus was transformed into a vibrant workshop, with participants engaging in a diverse range of 15 activities, showcasing the immense talent within our student body.
The Mela featured classic art forms such as Canvas Painting and Sketching, alongside traditional crafts like detailed Rangoli and the nature-inspired Leaf Printing. Students also explored sculptural arts through Clay Modelling and innovative activities like Pencil Shaving Art and Kite Decoration, utilizing a variety of materials with skill and imagination.
A highlight was the Art Exhibition, which allowed students to proudly display their finished works, encouraging peer appreciation and discussion about technique and vision.
The Art Mela was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark of creativity on all who attended.
