The Senior Secondary Wing of Doon School, in collaboration with the Government Psychiatric Disease Hospital, organized an educational visit for Grades 9–12 to promote mental health awareness and empathy in view of the “World Mental Health Awareness Day.”
Students toured open and closed wards to understand psychiatric care and break stigmas around mental illness.
An interactive session with a psychologist and psychiatrist addressed adolescent issues like stress, anxiety, and depression.
This visit fostered compassion, awareness, and responsibility among students towards mental well-being.
