Training Workshops from Elementary to senior secondary level. Attendees - Teachers From 29th July to 2nd of August, 2021. Three training workshops were conducted under the supervision of Principal Mr. Mehfooz Aslam and vice principal, Ms Nowsheen Bashir. The session started with the thought that every teacher is having the required skill set and understanding of what to teach and how but what is needed is the improvisation of their capabilities.The aim of the interactive session and various drills was that the teachers should get well acquainted with their students, gel well and come out of the boxes to form a team in which every individual is aware of his/her role and responsibility. One of the exercises was to blow the air into the balloon to bring home the point that one should not put so much pressure on their students that the whole effort results in a waste, like the bursting of a balloon. Calmness and composure is of utmost importance. It was also important to keep the entire setting happier to spread positive vibes for positive energies.The other drills included the art of incorporating storytelling, art work, music and sports etc in day to day online teaching methodologies. The effort was aimed at making kids happy. How important it was to have the sessions interactive so as the students are also confident enough to share their viewpoints. The participants gave the feedback that they found the time very well spent to absorb the aspects elaborately deliberated upon. Participants found the training fruitful and vowed to use the techniques learnt in their lessons. The participants were deep into the feelings of the students. The reasons for missing classes were brought out. Deliberations were done as how to induce seriousness amongst the students to change their casual attitudes towards the efforts of the school community. The workshop concluded with remarks from Vice Principal Ms. Nowsheen Bashir. She laid emphasis on keeping abreast and how teachers should work harder to keep themselves updated with newer skills.
