‘Felicitation is an inspiration to others and motivation to whom you are felicitating’. Felicitation programme is a way to appreciate the acts of brilliance in the students. It also imparts a healthy , ethical and competitive environment to grow in every sphere.
A felicitation ceremony for Silver Zone Olympiad Winners was organized at Doon International School, HMT on 12th of May, 2023 wherein the students were awarded State and Zonal level medals and certificates in the Silver zone Olympiad 2022-2023. The Chairperson of the institute, Mr Showkat Hussain Khan, was the Guest of honor of the ceremony. Ms Nowsheen Bashir, the Vice Principal, also graced the ceremony with her presence. While all the students had put in an appreciable effort to qualify these exams, few of them performed exceptionally well and brought laurels to the school. The winners were felicitated with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. All the participants were given certificates of merit/participation in different fields like Science, Mathematics, Reasoning and Aptitude, General Knowledge, English, STEM, Computers, etc. The Chairperson, in his speech, congratulated the winners and the participants for their efforts and success in the Olympiad.
The winners not only made us proud by bringing accolades to the school but also gave us a UT-wide recognition hence adding more feathers to our cap.
