The workshop was held at solar
residency at Rajbagh in Kashmir Valley, all prominent schools of valley had the
opportunity to enrich & upgrade skills by workshop conducted
by Ms. Sonali Nadkani. Our passionate &
vibrant facilitators of Wilmot Wing of Doon International school had the
opportunity to upgrade & enrich their skills in teaching
strategies for Early childhood Education.
Ms. Sonali Nadkarni, an enthusiastic educationalist with rich experience of
two decades in teaching Pre- schoolers. Her workshop purely reflected her
doctrine, "Teaching through Love" where she educated participants how
imperative it is to teach with mind & heart.
Research Cambridge has been
doing into what constitute best practice into in Early years Education and
focus in National Education Policy (NEP) on this area, this marks the best time
to start Cambridge initiative in India.
International research across the World, determined content &
scrutinized the framework as a whole. Cambridge Early years
have been designed towards the development of Whole child thus
providing Holistic learning. The unique feature of programme: the curriculum,
the learning resources, assessment & teachers training has been developed
together.
Quality Early childhood Education is
right of every child. Almost 85% of brain develops in early five years,
children need maximum stimulation during these first five formative years.
Her workshop proved fruitful in all aspects as threw light upon various elements that are inclusive in teaching Learners. Enabling facilitators to understand the impact of cognitive, physical, social, emotional & psychological areas of Learners are inclusive towards Holistic learning. Implementation & creative ways to deliver lesson and creating effective environment by setting examples, demonstration and involvement of participants in team work. Brief view of how human cognitive areas are related to visual, thinking & reasoning, memory consolidation & retrieval, areas of senses and its related implication in education.
