Here, the captains of the participating girls and boys basketball teams symbolically passed the torch to one another, signifying unity and the spirit of competition. The students of Doon School Srinagar showcased their prowess in a mass drill, exhibiting impressive maneuvers using a unique prop - a paper fan. Their precision and coordination left the audience in awe. On this special day, the students of Doon School Srinagar also delighted the audience with an impressive Sari drill performance, following the fan drill. They showcased a series of unique maneuvers with grace and precision, adding a touch of cultural flair to the event.
The formal inauguration of the event was marked by the cutting of a ribbon on the school's basketball court by the vice-principal of the school. Adding a touch of magic, she set free a bunch of balloons to soared into the sky. The competitive spirit then ignited with the first matches of the tournament. In the boys' category, the exciting match unfolded between Delhi Public School Srinagar and G.D. Goenka School Srinagar. The competitive high spirited team of DPS Srinagar won this match decisively. Muqtada of DPS was declared the player of the match
Later, in the girls' category, Doon School Srinagar squared off against Tahira Khanam's School Srinagar and won the match with flying colours. Nimra of Doon School Srinagar won the 'player of the match' title for this match.
