29th December the rays of Sun caressed the window sills of each member of staff (faculty and administration) saying “Hello! get out of quilts and rush to school auditorium. Today, a function awaits you. A function for you, of you and by you”.
All of us, gathered in the hall and warmed up slowly to the point where each one, was away from the usual mental occupation with school’s work. We had only one thing on the mind “Let’s enjoy”. Songs, mimicry, games. Think of any thing and it was there to relax, chat, laugh. Each one felt so happy. The feeling of togetherness, the spirit of fellowship slowly crept in and reached its zenith. The best way to end a heavy year that was 2021.
Then came the climax! Eyes stared and mouth watered till each one stuffed the first mouthful. There was all. The entire courses of most ravishingly tasty wazwan. The Magnanimity of the Chairman’s heart and blessings seeped deeply in all of us. He saw to it that the best was served. He ensured that all were full. All said only three words “Thank you Sir”. These three words carried thousand sentiments of love and gratitude.
