Students of Doon International School in Grades 6 through 12 gathered in the ground early on Friday, April 1, 2022, according to their houses, with their house masters and house mistresses, for the election of House Captains. Students voted for their ideal house captain nominee, and the atmosphere was teeming with intrigue and anticipation. Each house had to march-past after the voting procedure. The Sports teachers began by giving simple instructions, such as "stand at ease," "attention," "right, left," and so on. They exhibited everything that needed to be considered while marching, including the location of the thumb, leg movement, and head position. Drill commands and martial music were played in the background. They further explained how team spirit, discipline and camaraderie are learnt through this exercise.
