School Cinema is a first-of-its-kind program in the world that has introduced film pedagogy to schools to support Social Emotional Learning, Life Skills, Mental Well-being and Social Skills, creating future-ready students.
School cinema seminar was held on 23rd February 2023, at Doon International School, Srinagar. The main aim of the seminar was to train teachers about the new learning module by LXL Ideas.
The seminar encompassed a movie session –Finish Line that ceded the message of how a teacher is needs to be careful while dealing with a child, in terms of the language and behaviour.
The benefits of this learning module like enabling holistic assessment, Sharpening parenting & teaching skills, internalizing issue-based learning, promoting assertiveness & empathy, and enhancing decision-making in children were also discussed.
