The corridors of Doon School Srinagar came alive with creativity and awareness during the Inter-House Board Decoration Competition held recently. The theme for this year’s event was “Climate Change”, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).
All four houses : Teals, Hoopoes, Falcons, and Mallards displayed remarkable creativity and teamwork as they transformed their boards into thought-provoking displays. Through vivid illustrations, powerful slogans, and well-researched facts, students expressed their deep concern for the environment and offered meaningful solutions to the global climate crisis.
The Principal witnessed the beautifully decorated boards and interacted with the students, appreciating their efforts and thoughtful perspectives on combating climate change.
The event not only showcased artistic talent and teamwork but also encouraged environmental consciousness that’s encouraged by Doon school Srinagar among its student community.
