Doon School Srinagar proudly
celebrates the success of 22 students in the "OP SADHBHAVANA ARCHERY
TOURNAMENT - 2024," organized by 125 IN BN (TA) The Guards in
collaboration with J&K Youth Front (Preserve Paradise JKL). The school's
participants demonstrated exceptional skills, securing the top three positions
in the tournament.
Zaid Ahmad from 3rd (A) secured
the first position, winning a cash prize of three thousand and a trophy. Hisham
from 5th (D) claimed the second position, receiving a cash prize of two
thousand and a trophy. The third position was shared by Shahzaib (5th C) and
Umaiza (5th C), both awarded a cash prize of one thousand and a trophy each.
Mr. Lamba (GOC) BB Cant
acknowledged Doon School Srinagar's outstanding efforts and praised it as a
crucial platform for building strong student bonds. He commended the
involvement of students in various activities but advised caution, emphasizing
safety and sustainability.
Mr. Lamba also highlighted the
importance of eco-friendly planning for such events and expressed appreciation
for Doon School Srinagar's management. He assured administrative support to
enhance the institute by installing advanced training infrastructure. This
recognition reflects not only the students' athletic prowess but also the
school's commitment to holistic development and responsible event management.
